The black and white exposure manages to mute a lot of sediments in the
water seen in the colour version.
I think these came out quite nicely.</p>

<p>The colour version of this photo wasn’t bad, but the black and white of
<a href="tags/lee.html">Lee</a> above the <a href="tags/rozi.html">Rozi</a> is, I think, much better.
He might look badass, but this is the same Lee swooping from above to
startle me and giggle like a schoolgirl minutes before.
Daddy shark indeed!</p>

<p>A tiny <a href="tags/flabellina_affinis.html"><i>Flabellina affinis</i></a> alongside the Rozi.
For this shot, I took off the wide-angle lens just to get a full, crisp
zoom through.
Not the best composition—the subject isn’t nicely framed and the aperture
could be open more—but a good experiment in switching out lenses.</p>

<a href="tags/rozi.html">Rozi</a>.
This particular moray was so friendly that I was able to get right in
its face, even removing the wide-angle dome for better close-ups.</p>

Folks seem to favour the nearby P29, but maybe in being smaller, the
Rozi is a bit easier for photography.
This photo needed a bit more light, but gives a decent perspective of
the her dimensions.</p>
