whale exodus
Another foggy and cold morning with no whale sounds to wake us. Slow morning.
Took out a SUP and hugged the coastline to the far bay, but winds are quite high, swells bad enough to make movement difficult. Whales in no mood to interact.
Went out after lunch with dog for a walk along the rocks.
“Can I go too?”
Fog into the distance.
Scaring shorebirds.
After that, took walk in woods to replace bear autophoto equipment. (No bears sighted this time.) Again—thankful for mosquito net.

Tail-slapping at night! Cold, cold weather—below zero.
